Drawing of Potential Attached Garage

Above is a sketch that we had Andrew Locati prepare.  The sketch illustrates an attached garage added to the exhisting home.  His plans call for a two car garage, but it could be extended to meet all your wants and desires.  As you can see by partially removing the side deck, this addition would look as if the garage was always there.  Andy recommends that the garage sit back from the brick area so the transitions of the roof lines blend. 

You could change the plans to reflect the garage door on the front of the house.

Summary

This 2005 custom-built home is located on 2+ acres with a beautiful view of the valley. Relax and enjoy your surroundings from the wrap around deck.  A large garage/shop with loft, car port and a separate area for the mechanical or wood working enthusiast.

 With over 3300 square feet, this one story contemporary home with 10' ceilings offers plenty of space for the family.  The gourmet kitchen has granite counter-tops while the adjoining family room invites a warm, cozy atmosphere with its gas fireplace.  The large, master suite is eloquently designed and offers a whirlpool bathtub and beautiful, glass-block shower.  Two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath while you can unwind in the claw bathtub located in the guest bath. Outside

The septic tank and drain field are located in the back yard.  The back yard has underground sprinkler system that can be turned on in two locations found on the deck.  The alternate drain field is off the bonus room.  The entryway offers a large concrete area.  This area will allow you the ability to park at the front door for loading and unloading.  The entryway grass area also has an underground sprinkler system with a beautiful fountain.  You can also find electricity to it.  Remove the fountain and install a beautiful pond with a natural waterfall. 

Garage/Shop/Carport

The garage/shop is a metal pole building with a two car bay.  The roof is a 30 year composition roof.  It has an insulated enclosed room for wood working or auto mechanics.  The loft allows a lot of storage.  The carport is open and allows more automobile storage.  It is surrounded by concrete sidewalks that opens to black  top.  You can easily park up to 7 cars in front of the garage/shop.  Another 8 cars can comfortably be parked in the parking area.  The parking area is large enough for RV parking.

Covered Deck and Deck

The deck is made from a man made product called Rhino Decking.  This decking is low maintenance; therefore, you will never get slivers or have to strip or resurface this deck. Over half of the deck is covered and has wiring for speakers. This sound originates from your entertainment center located in the family room.  The deck overlooks the Englewood Valley.  This view has been preserved through the property boundaries.  The deck covers the half the house and has two exits.  One to the back yard from the family room and the other by the bonus room.

Gourmet Kitchen

Enjoy cooking and entertaining in the beautifully designed kitchen.  The kitchen opens up to the large nook and family room. The nook and kitchen are tiled to match the laundry room.  It has a large walk in pantry and closet for storage.  The cabinets are made from cherry wood and counter-tops are Verda Butterfly granite.  Some of the cabinets were designed to display your beautiful plates and crystal.  It offers an oven/microwave combination unit. The center sink houses the garbage disposal.  The sink offers instant hot water, soap dispenser and faucet/sprayer combo. The island is perfect for any type of food preparation. 

Family Room

The nook and kitchen flow into the large family room.  It is carpeted and wired for cat 5, surround sound and cable/satellite.  It has Verda Butterfly granite above the gas insert fireplace.  This is a great space for your plasma  TV.  This room exits through a gliding wood door to the deck. The view has been protected through the established property lines and  overlooks the Englewood Valley that is soothing to the soul.

Master Bathroom

The master bathroom is breathtaking.  The shower is designed out of  glass block.  It has a double sink and Verda Butterfly granite.  It has its own regulated water heater.  The cabinets are cherry wood and the floor and shower are tiled to match. It  also has a jetted tub for your rough days.

Master Suite

The home has a large master suite.  It has been wired for a front surround system.  It has also been wired for cat 5 and cable/satellite.  It has a large his and hers walk in closets with closet organization.  Imagine not sharing your closet with your mate.  The suite flows beautifully to the master bathroom.  The master  suite has french doors that open to the covered deck.

Bonus Room

The large well lit room is carpeted and painted in a deep burgundy. It has french doors to separate it from the family room along with a gliding wood door to exit on to the deck.  It is currently being used as a studio creating works of art and photography.  It has been used as a pool room and playroom for the kids.  It has a large closest and cherry wood cabinets for storage.  It is plumbed with a small sink  and the counter-top is a Verda Butterfly granite.  This room has been wired with cat 5 and cable/satellite.  It  has also been wired for speakers.  This sound originates from your entertainment center located in the family room.

Guest Bathroom

This bathroom is beautifully designed with beige painted Waynes coating and white walls.  The floors are tiled.   It has a pedestal sink and claw  footed tub for soaking.  You will feel beautiful after soaking in the tub.

Formal Living Room

The formal living room is open to the entryway and formal dining room.  It has two large windows that face the front of the home.  The floors are covered with cherry hardwood floors and 14' ceilings.  Enjoy this room by reading a good book.

Formal Dining Room

Your family will enjoy the formal dining room.  This room will allow large family gatherings for the holidays; events or parties.  The room will accommodate up to a 10 person table. It is large enough for a kid table to be added as the room flows from the entryway to the formal living room.  It offers beautiful windows to the covered deck and the floors are covered with cherry hardwood floors with 14' ceilings.

Entryway

You will enter the home through a double door that has beveled glass.  The entryway is covered with cherry hardwood floors and opens to the formal dining room.
